The steel here is very unique, with 100 layers of steel and pure nickel each side of an 80crv2 carbon steel core and a stunning coloured patina. The s ground geometry created a striking look to the blade while allowing exceptional food release.

This blade has our KWB-Iron-Guard coating to protect the surface and remove the need for oiling during daily use, this can be bought separately and used yearly to keep your knife protected. 80crv2 is a tough steel so you don’t have to be too worried about chipping it despite the thin edge although high quality knives should always be treated with respect. Like most carbon steels, it is easy to sharpen and keep a hair-popping edge.
