About us
We are a small family run business specialising in the production of high end blades and knife making supplies. We forge all our own pattern welded steel using the highest quality stock from around the world. Our billets are available to purchase along with a very limited selection of Korben’s finished knives, and various other supplies. Korben currently specialises in kitchen cutlery but has experience with most forms of cutting tools, from cutthroat razors to swords.
Korben Bloomfield
- Our resident knifemaker and founder. “I have spent most of my life making and improving things and I decided to become a full time knifemaker in 2017. I am a perfectionist, my work contains my heart and soul. I am entirely self taught, I started learning forge welding, heat treating and the basics of knifemaking in 2015. In my opinion there’s nothing worse than a poor quality knife riding on the appeal of fancy materials. I test every aspect and tweak it little by little until it’s as close to perfect as possible.”
Ethan
- Production blacksmith. “I joined in 2019 to help my brother expand the steel production side of the business. I have always enjoyed hitting things and so obviously getting paid to use the Pilkington power hammer was an appealing option.”

- Financial overseer. “I met Korben in 2018 and we have been together since. I have loved seeing the business grow and I am proud to be a part of it.”
