Forging process

The Making of This Knife

The blade has been through several geometry refining processes to ensure a thin even edge which sits at the perfect honing angle when laid flat on a whetstone with a layer of tape to protect the spine. We finish our razors on an 8k hone, and leather strop for a silky smooth edge. When it comes to straight razor shaving, everyone has their own preference; some like a super keen edge, while others prefer a slightly smoother shave and for that reason, we recommend going through the final stage of your honing process, and stropping on a soft leather strop before the first shave. This will not affect the returns policy as long as the blade remains in pristine condition. Please use tape to protect the spine while honing.
